We opted to have the RightEye at HML because it is FDA approved, and most importantly it can pick up on oculomotor (eye movement) abnormalities that you cannot see bedside. Until we received the RightEye we would base our Functional Neurological oculomotor treatments on other providers findings, our bedside findings, and symptoms… Now we have more objective data showing us exactly what is going on to better pinpoint our treatments.

We can use the RightEye to find issues with balance, dizziness, sports performance, post-concussion syndrome, post-stroke rehabilitation, reading and academic challenges, and more. The oculomotor issues we find could be the missing piece to your or, your love one’s neurological problems.

Being at HML that we specialize in children with developmental disorders, including Dyslexia and other learning disabilities, this is the primary reason we wanted to start applying the RightEye. The RightEye, mixed with our Functional Neurological diagnostic specialty, we can find underlying oculomotor dysfunction that cannot be seen by the naked eye. How well your eyes move have everything to do with how well a child is able to decode their reading, and therefore comprehend what they read!
